About The Photographer

I was introduced to the art of photography as a young girl, experimenting with a (now antique) Pentex, under the loving guidance of my dad. He didn't spend much time teaching me about aperture or white balance, but he taught me how to frame the images with my heart; to capture the moment, the emotions, the memories, to take comfort in the sweet sound of the shutter release. He taught me that the good photographs are the ones that tell a story. And so my love of photography began.
Through the years I have taken online classes, read and re-read books and articles, experimented and practiced. I still have much to learn, and am continuing to push myself. Ever learning and drawing inspiration from fellow photographers. I am so happy that you have stopped by to visit. I am looking forward to working with you and your family.
